Central African Republic — Internal Displacement Situation in Bangui (August 2014)

Since the peak of the crisis in December 2013 displacement in IDP sites in Bangui has decreased by approximately 78%. In the month of August 2014 the estimated number of IDPs in Bangui is 67,514 according to the Commission on the Movement of Population. The number of IDP sites in Bangui is declining and at the end of August there are still 37 active sites.
